Congratulations @TimbersFC on another Western Conference Championship. It’s been an incredible run (so far🤞🏾) born out of one of the most difficult years I’ve lived and seen as a Timber. This is your moment and the city is ready for it — go finish the job 👏🏾

I’m old enough to remember when people & groups promised never to remain silent amid systemic oppression & blatant police brutality. I’m also old enough to realize that people “finding their unique” lanes of activism often meant forgetting about it & pushing for business as usual

Yearly reminder that Election Day should be a holiday and no one should have to decide between working for desperately needed money/opportunity & exercising their right to vote. That said to those of you who can, your votes matter, whether it’s a state/county seat or judge #vote

The work doesn’t end with the black square you posted or the march you attended. Find ways to stay involved.

It is imperative that we speak candidly about the Emancipation Proclamation and Juneteenth as many continue to relearn our history. While Lincoln ultimately made strides in the advancement of Blacks, his internal discord on whether to free Blacks or not was evident.

From 2016 but as applicable today as people call for peaceful protest. How did moderates treat Kap when he peacefully protested? We’ve had so many chances as a society to listen and evolve but we keep having the same stagnant conversation bc we refuse to address the actual issue
If we protest, we're violent. If we wear shirts to warm up in pregame, we're disrespectful. If we kneel before an anthem, we deserve to die

The disappointing thing about racism is when people tell the victim that he should act differently to avoid racism like that’s the problem. There are no routine acts that warrant a racist reaction and celebrating a goal a specific way certainly is not the exception #MoiseKean
