    The AP found out what happened to the mothers and babies injured when Russia bombed their hospital. The mother in this picture, whose pelvis was crushed, cried out for medics to kill her to save her child; they both died.

    Doctors at Ayder @kibrom30 & @FAmdeslasie, say they received the bodies of two children, a woman & a teenager. Three more dead - a woman, her child & an unidentified body - were taken to Mekelle Hospital, said @FAmdeslasie. A government spokesman said no civilians were killed.

    Doctors at Mekelle's Ayder hospital say babies with meningitis and tuberculosis and children with HIV have had to leave after the hospital ran out of food. Around 240 patients have left; only those who can afford to buy their own provisions have stayed.

    The head of Ayder hospital, @kibrom30, reported a strike in the vicinity of Mekelle General Hospital in Tigray overnight. Ethiopian government officials were not available for comment. The extent of casualties was unclear.
