    I recognize this highway! It’s built directly on the farmland of my grandparents’ village. The village they were ethnically cleansed from in 1948 by Israeli terrorist militias, causing them to live the next 70 years as refugees in poverty. Good luck with those sirens though!

    Over the past 5 months, most young online Gazans have realized that the idea of western liberalism and rule of law was always a farce. For some reason Motaz hasn’t come to this realization yet. The West will never save us. It was never designed to.

    If only there were some public fund billionaires could pay into along with everyone else that helps fund our infrastructure, hospitals, and public systems all at once. It could even be a modest % of what they earn every year. We could have an agency collect it and everything

    The way Moroccans talk about Algerians (and the way Algerians mostly ignore Morocco’s existence) is hilariously pathetic. I suspect it has a lot to do with the way each country attained independence. Similar patterns are seen throughout much of the Muslim world.

    This needs to be shared. There’s a gaslighting movement among leftists to hijack Palestine and turn it into a nationalist/race/socialist/police violence narrative that erases Islam. The religion of the Beloved ﷺ will always be the focal point of Palestinians and Quds.

    Muslim clothing brands in the west need to abandon the boring minimalism that’s infected aesthetics and is a by-product of capitalism’s focus on efficiency and instead adopt what’s going on here. If I could rock an outfit like the vest in the second image I absolutely would.
