Why can’t we just sit down and have an honest conversation with ladies? Like, “Babe, here’s where I stand financially, I have this investment, this salary or this capital. I’m capable of doing this & that for you, but there are also things I can’t afford right now.” Can we build?

Diabetes took Mum and left 4 out of the 10 of us with the same ailment. Now it took her last child Ameerah on a Friday night 14th of Ramadan, 2025, before her marriage in June. Yaa Allah forgive her & heal our hearts from the pain of burying our light of the house, Saadatu Iyal.

Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah... 🥹 Diabetes took Mum that year when she almost lost her hand to it, and now our beloved youngest sister is suffering the same fate. We fear losing her or her hand being amputated. Yaa Rabb, grant her shifah. Please, help us pray for her. 💔

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un! We had a Janazah prayer at Al-Manar Jumu’ah Mosque, Life Camp, Abuja, that deeply shook me. I stood in the front row, and they laid the deceased & her newborn baby in my front. My legs trembled as I was crying. May Allah grant them Jannah.🥹💔

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un. I was recently in Mama’s room in Katsina, spent time with her and the family, was blessed & prayed for as usual. Now, she’s suddenly gone. She has been feeding me throughout my university life. Please pray for her. May Allah grant her Jannah.

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un I just witnessed a Janazah prayer at Central Mosque Abuja that left me in awe. Whoever this deceased person is, they are truly blessed. I have never seen such a large crowd at a Janazah. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace.

ordered it for Zainab and myself, and an aunt warned me with a superstition that any girl you buy shoes for will eventually run away from you. After a few weeks of matching our shoes, Zainab was nowhere to be found. 😂

I know this will surprise you, but the sister I consider a living mother is just diagnosed with diabetes this night, one week after Ameerah’s death from diabetes. Yaa Allah, don’t let this disease take all my loved ones. yaa Rabb I love Maami, please grant her a faster recovery.
