Remember when the cast of Riverdale got in that car accident driving themselves home after a 18-hour day? This is why talent should have transportation. Let’s stop acting like Taraji is being a diva.
Taraji P. Henson criticizes 'The Color Purple' production for making cast drive themselves to set in rental cars.

“I wish he just would have killed me if I knew I had to go through this” —Megan Thee Stallion on the mistreatment she endured after coming forward. This hurts. This is how misogynoir harms us. If a famous Black woman wants to die after being assaulted, none of us are OK.

Abuse. Rape. Torture porn. Directors leaving. Unfinished scripts. Eggs dwindling in a vagina. Character begging to be sexually assaulted. Crew members pissed. Unprofessional nepo behavior, bad acting…and this is your corny response? Abel, bye.

When there’s a Black presenter for a category with a Black nominee, you can tell by their face RIGHT when they open that envelope if we won LMAO #GoldenGlobes

Imagine being in a film produced by a billionaire and almost having to walk away from a dream role bc they don’t value you and won’t pay what you’re worth. Wild.
Oh she’s NOT PLAYING. And she hasn’t been for years. But to hear that she almost walked away from The Color Purple(!!!!!!!)😭 They better stop playing with Taraji and Black women period. 🎥: @sagaftraFOUND moderated by @angelique814

Once again: If you know someone is breaking the law, why are you all sitting on this information?!?! This man is texting a teenager, you have proof and you wait for a rap beef to bring it up instead of calling Benson and Stabler? These folks stand for absolutely nothing.

You got more likes on this tweet than you did votes. Focus on that lol

Remember when Elizabeth Banks said Spielberg had never directed a film with women leads and we had to remind her ass of The Color Purple? These girl boss white feminists truly do not have any sense or peripheral vision. Lol

when was the last major blockbuster you can remember that was made for a female audience? (i’ll wait). up to now, Hollywood did not think women were important. execs think the audience is men and boys and their moms / wives / girlfriends will see what they want to see

In this interview, Ashanti basically says that she was manipulated and taken advantage of by Irv and feared that if she didn’t fuck that ogre, he wouldn’t let her record. He groomed and coerced her and we ALL know what that means.
Ashanti says Irv Gotti would frequently tell her that he “made her f*ckable” youtu.be/_j55M6SC8Pw

This Ashanti interview also reminds you that men are never your friends. Cause Ja telling her that despite the lies, he was gonna stay neutral during that Drink Champs interview tells me everything I need to know how men are allergic to holding each other accountable.

What’s his personality like? Is he kind? Does he call women “females?” Is he intimidated by women who have their own education, career and money? Is he controlling? Is he a good listener? Is he more negative than positive? Does he have a temper? Money is NEVER enough

In 2018, I worked on an article with a Black survivor for a Black media outlet. The woman was adamant that she had been assaulted by a beloved Black man who worked in the tech space. Her story was in the gray area— a Aziz Ansari type assault. She pushed back, he coerced her.

Literally more Africans were enslaved in Brazil than the entire US. Y’all have the very same if not worse race issues, esp around representation in the media. so don’t come over here acting brand new about why race matters in the US. Thanks!
