- One time my mom *strongly* urged me to send an e-mail asking for a mentorship from a specific director, saying I should be more confident in my work and getting myself out there. The director she was talking about was Hayao Miyazakiu ever had ur parents who know nothing about animation try and give u advice on how to get into the industry 😭
