People may question the tweet or the timing of it but it’s not just “black or brown people” who share Trevor’s opinion on the monarchy. Those calling for him to be sacked are ridiculous.
My tweet yesterday was ill timed at a time when the royal family, and many around the world were grieving for the Queen. I apologise for any offence caused to those mourning The Queen.
I’d rather be ranked 150th in the world and never qualify again than have someone who has played, but needs time to THINK whether they should play for us again. Well done to MON for transparency.
Martin O'Neill: He (Declan Rice) is still deliberating. He is a young man. England have spoken to him. He is taking time to make his mind up. He has done brilliantly for us. I'm giving him a little bit of time. #COYBIG
Incredible that a women let alone a nationalist has been voted in as first minister of NI.. Everything that once seemed unimaginable. A Great day for Ireland and equality. #irelandforchange#IrishUnity 🇮🇪
Sad hearing the awful news that Liam Miller has passed away this evening, taken far so soon by a terrible disease. Proud to have shared a dressing room with him over the years. #RIPLiamMiller
Again “If I WERE offered an England cap”. I WAS offered a chance to play for England before playing for Ireland and politely declined but again thanks for the tweet pal. Enjoy your night! 👍🏻
Truly shocked and deeply saddened with the loss of a true friend, great team mate and even greater man. You were loved by all my friend. A superb player and selfless in every way. RIP Super Kev 💙
