    my therapist gave me this and said that it might be helpful for folks with anxiety, she said we usually describe our emotions like oceans, and narrow them down to rivers, but that we should try to make them ponds

    okok i wanna say that I hope this shows that numbers are not all that matters, while I didn’t have “perfect” stats, I was a competitive candidate in others ways (I planted many beautiful seeds in my community and have been doing community work since I was 15) :)
