Every time a US company raises its streaming prices on me, I cancel and resubscribe from Bangladesh.
Today it's Spotify's turn; they used to get $12.99 a month from me, but will be getting ~$2.40 a month going forward.

You’d be handed a problem or a theorem to prove, and the real work began, not just solving it, but wrestling with it. try different approaches, hit dead ends, rethink, and eventually sometimes after hours or days

After finishing a three to six year apprenticeship, they may choose to either continue rising within the large firm *or* move on toOne thing I’ve noticed in the best teams in tech right now is that there’s no desire to hire and mentor juniors anymore (across every discipline). This is in part due to cutbacks etc but it’s also that a new philosophy won out - instead of large, bottoms up teams, everyone wants
