Canadian journalist Tara Singh Hayer was assassinated 26 years ago today. To date, no one has been charged though gangsters allegedly hired by the Babbar Khalsa terrorist group were identified as suspects. Hayer had agreed to be an Air India witness.

Vancouver Coastal Health confirm accused mass murderer Adam Lo was "under the care of a mental health team and on extended leave in accordance with the Mental Health Act." So he had been in hospital but was out.
