    Radio news! Children are on average 3 months behind. BEHIND WHO? If they’re all “behind” then who the hell is in front? This reporting is not helpful to anyone. Are you reporting on how far “behind” hospital waiting lists are, or court cases, or MOTs, or or or......🤦‍♀️

    Saw a parent this evening who I know is a doctor. Had a quick chat and I said “you know we all think you lot are doing a great job?” And she said “you know we all think you lot are?” Was such a nice moment. 😍 #Teachers #NHS

    We all joked about it. We didn’t really think after everything else that they’d really do it. Again. So we joked about it. Poor deluded fools. What’s worse than guidance on a Friday night? Guidance on a Friday night of the bank holiday weekend before you go back to school.

    Just heard the news on the way home that BJ will lose social distancing to enable schools to return in September and that he told the media to “watch this space”. The media??????? Tell the sodding schools!!!!!!!!

    Right that’s it. I’m writing to both my MPs. Where I live @HelenGrantMP & where I work @Nus_Ghani, to explain what late DfE guidance does to school leaders. If they want us in post & not on long term sick with stress then they need to treat us better. I urge you to do the same.

    Apparently i had this upside down & it was really a picture of mountains with a helicopter that hasn’t been drawn yet, just landing pads! I said they’d need extra art & geog lessons every lunch & play as they were clearly lacking skills & knowledge. They then admitted it was tits

    It almost doesn’t matter what the pay offer is. If it’s not funded it’s not possible. It really is as simple as that.

    I’m off twitter again folks, the speculation about school returns both the accidental tweets and the absolutely-on-bloody-purpose-what-do-you think ones, are too much for me. Too much. Managing my own mental health first so I can be there for my staff and kids. Be back Monday.

    One day. one day. we will look back at this and say “can you believe that was what it was like?” You youngsters will get to my age and say to the NQTs int he staff room “This is nothing, we taught in the pandemic of 2020” It will happen. We will get there. Stay strong people.👊
