As my grandfather lies in a bed struggling to take his last breaths due to Covid, I’m not sure I’ve ever read anything more offensive or tone deaf in my life.
I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

Imagine winning 6 Olympic medals, fighting to make sure no one else is sexually abused like you were, literally inventing new skills in your sport (some of which if you misstep you could end up paralyzed)- and having a bunch of keyboard warriors call you weak. 🤔

Been an interesting week when I learn that the celebrations of Morgan and Rapinoe are arrogant and disrespectful but these others are not. 🤷🏼‍♀️

As a mother to a child who suffers from “ bumpy” speech- aka stuttering, this means so much to our family. My son watched this and cried, seeing himself in Brayden- seeing him be brave. I can’t explain how much seeing this meant to us. ❤️

For the people claiming Mary should have known better, not taken Nike $ and is not a victim: she was a child, her parents were called by the most powerful coach in T & F and lied to. She is a victim and your comments prove why this abusuve culture is able to continue.

Complete surprise package today. 12.5 years after Osaka I received my silver medal. Thank you @usatf for the thoughtful and beautiful flowers. And thank you to my husband, family, and friends who were able to tune in with zoom and watch me “receive” it. Heart full tonight. ❤️🥈

If you are upset by my tweet yesterday that I wear a mask daily in public places, then you’re going to be really upset when you learn that I wear a mask to protect you. 🤯

Who babysits his kids when he’s out, his wife? Does he feel guilty taking so much “me time” for himself? Will he stop when he gets his pre-baby body back? How does his family feel about this selfish act? How does he run and finish house chores, shopping, cooking, and cleaning?
I'm interviewing a male runner about what it's like to run at the same time as being a man. What should I ask him?

Fight on Papa. Tonight surround by my sister, mother, myself, and with my other sister on the phone, my grandfather passed away in peace. He would be overwhelmed with the support he has received from you all. Thank you.

Today I’m learning on my Facebook and Instagram that I’ve ruined people’s escape and the joy that they used to feel when following me because I won’t just “stick to sports”. Awkward because I’m still the same person I’ve always been, you just didn’t know. 😬

For the past year my son has been encouraging me to get an Olympic rings tattoo. A few weeks ago he said, “mom, you should be so proud- it’s a big deal!” Today I got the rings- 15 years after I became an Olympian. Thankful for Colt who has helped me see my past differently. ❤️

My father was killed by a drunk driver 37 years ago today. I was a week shy of my 4th birthday. My older sister was nearly 6, my younger sister just 6 weeks old. The pain this has caused us is immeasurable. Please, please, please don’t drink and drive.

Today my 95 (96 next week) year old grandpa was diagnosed with Covid. We have not been able to see or touch him for 7 months. He is a father to me, helping raise me and my sisters after our dad died and introduced me to running. His life is worthy. Please, please wear a mask.
