- Vlogging on @YouTube used to be people just filming their daily life. Now it’s people doing extreme, crazy, or irresponsible things to get views that they’d never be doing if they weren’t filming it. And this is what young kids are being influenced by. i’m sad 4 this generation
- I’m not impressed with anyone having lots of followers or likes. I’m impressed with people who treat everyone kind & who are humble and real and don’t boast or show off & have bad attitudes.
- Years ago before youtube, I was in the office applying for food stamps, ashamed & depressed over how hopeless my life was. my mom told me “these hard things will make ur success story that much better” I couldn’t see success- today I’m going to speak at UCLA about my success 😭
- Is it weird I wish the youtube beauty community could just go back to the days of 2009...there was no drama, backstabbing, people creating content to stir up drama. It was about a common love for makeup & creativity and not about money, fame or drama.

- It’s sad how the beauty community used to be a place of kindness, sharing a passion for makeup & feeling like a community of makeup loving friends, now it’s drama, bashing people, gossip & tearing other people & brands apart. This is not what “beauty” should be about.

- I miss the youtube beauty community (before 2010)...it was filled with kindness, everyone was respectful, humble, friendly and there was no big egos, drama, attitude or hating each other. It was a bunch of happy people trying to make others happy.
- Does anyone remember watching youtube back when the editing wasn’t so great, no one had good lighting, and no one was doing youtube to be famous, because there weren’t any famous youtubers?
- The state of Youtube is breaking my heart. Youtube is a place where mostly young people are watching and looking up to people creating content. Everything we see & hear affects us. Kids should NOT be learning to behave, speak or act like some of the videos they are watching.
