Charlie Kirk was killed for peacefully exercising his first amendment rights. He was killed because of his traditional Christian values. He was killed because he shared those values with young people and they listened. He was killed because he wanted to have a conversation. ✝️

NO, WE NEED PERMANENT STANDARD TIME. Lock the clock and keep time as it is right now. Evidence demonstrates that permanent dst negatively affects human health and circadian rhythms. Check out @SaveStandard and @hubermanlab Permanent DST was tried in the 70s and was hated so

Who realized that DST was a core belief? People have very strong opinions on both sides. We have to follow the current scientific evidence though. Right now that supports permanent standard time. I LOVE SUNSHINE JUST AS MUCH AS THE NEXT PERSON. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

People, the amount of sunlight every day is the same as it would be if we had permanent standard time or permanent DST. The point is that standard time better aligns with human circadian rhythms and nature. We don’t actually “get an extra hour” of sunlight in the summer. ☀️🙃

The data clearly say: 1) Locking the clock is better than shifting it forward & back. 2) Locking to standard time is best if you’re truly thinking about health. (& morning people love this) 3) Locking to DST is favored by late risers. Don’t expect consensus on 2 & 3. 1= YES.

Things seem to be moving fast so before we lock the clock to Daylight Savings, please consider that all the HEALTH data say we should lock the clock to Standard time. It is best for kids, adults and elderly. Happy to go toe-to-toe with anyone on this. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37858428/
