- You didn't get into God's family because of your performance, and you won't get kicked out because of your performance. God chose to love you because of who He is, not because of who you are or what you did, so He's not going to stop loving you.
- Can't love Jesus and not love people.
- God’s love is so extravagant and so inexplicable that he loved us before we were us. He loved us before we existed. He knew many of us would reject him, hate him, curse him, rebel against him. Yet he chose to love us. God loves us because he is love.
- Worry is useless. Worry saps our strength and steals our focus. It causes us to be more awestruck and dumbfounded by storms than by the one who silences storms with a word.
- God's love for us never stops, never quits, never gives up.
- I say we let God be God.
- Jesus sees our sin more clearly than anyone. Yet... He loves us more than anyone.
- Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it. Imagine the relief that comes with giving control of our fears and anxiety to Jesus.
- God is not against you and he's not out to trap you, humiliate you, expel you, or fire you. He is smiling at you. He's applauding you. And he's telling you how proud he is of your efforts. Let down your guard, and lean into him. You'll be glad you did.
- Jesus loves us right now, just as we are. He isn’t yelling at us to climb out of our pits and clean ourselves so we can be worthy of Him. He is wading waist-deep into the muck of life, weeping with the broken, rescuing the lost, and healing the sick.
