German football should be regarded as a wonderful thing. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund not signed up. German clubs respect their fans.

- The away dressing room is next to the press room at Stamford Bridge. It would be fair to say Arsenal are celebrating very loudly... felt like a statement win, that. Huge performance.
- Another Balon d’Or farce. The notion that Messi was deserving in 2021 or in any way surprised… ridiculous. Jorginho won the Euros and Champions League. Lewandowski should have won it before now so yet another snub just underlines that mistake. Ronaldo called it…
- Gareth Bale earns twice as much as Mesut Ozil. We seem to be much more sympathetic to Bale not wanting to play than Ozil who does.
- Exclusive: Laura Woods set to replace Alan Brazil as talkSPORT’s main breakfast show host. Big Al is a radio legend but Laura is a superb broadcaster 👏👏👏
- The Myles Lewis-Skelly red card was a shocker. Even more baffling that Joao Gomes only got a yellow card - his second and therefore he was sent off - for a worse-looking challenge. Never mind consistency over the course of a season, Michael Oliver doesn’t show it in the same game
- The amount of people, even foreign broadcasters who have lived here for years and claim to have a handle of the English mentality… Football’s Coming Home is not arrogance. Listen to the words. It’s regret, it’s lamenting what went before, it’s never giving up, it’s dreaming. 🙏
- 14 months into Mourinho's reign, United drew at Liverpool and then lost at Huddersfield. Criticism of Mourinho was brutal. 14 months into Solskjaer's reign, United lost at Liverpool and at home to Burnley. But it's not the manager's fault. Being a club legend earns you credit.
- After his move to Everton was blocked, Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been told he won’t be training with the Arsenal first team. More @MirrorFootball
- 5Live experts on Lewis-Skelly red card… Pat Nevin: “a bar so low even a limbo dancing snake couldn’t get under it…” Mark Chapman: “baffling and nonsensical from supposedly one of our best referees.”
- Gabriel Jesus booked after the final whistle for complaining Arsenal should have had a corner at the end. Tsimikas didn't just touch it once but twice for good measure and still a goal kick.
- Leandro Trossard tells Arsenal team mates he did not hear whistle before his sending-off. Time wasting? The incredible stat which shows ball was actually in play for FIFTH longest of any Prem game this season
- England fans chanting: "Starmer is a ****"
- He’s had a better year than Messi. Messi being the greatest shouldn’t entitle him to an annual award when van Dijk clearly been better in 2019.He may not have won the #BallondOr, but what a year it's been for Virgil van Dijk 💪 A colossus at the back ❌
