- Gareth Bale earns twice as much as Mesut Ozil. We seem to be much more sympathetic to Bale not wanting to play than Ozil who does.
- Exclusive: Laura Woods set to replace Alan Brazil as talkSPORT’s main breakfast show host. Big Al is a radio legend but Laura is a superb broadcaster 👏👏👏
- The Myles Lewis-Skelly red card was a shocker. Even more baffling that Joao Gomes only got a yellow card - his second and therefore he was sent off - for a worse-looking challenge. Never mind consistency over the course of a season, Michael Oliver doesn’t show it in the same game
- The amount of people, even foreign broadcasters who have lived here for years and claim to have a handle of the English mentality… Football’s Coming Home is not arrogance. Listen to the words. It’s regret, it’s lamenting what went before, it’s never giving up, it’s dreaming. 🙏
