Germany basically doing what Donald Trump demanded that they do - to widespread ridicule - for the four years of his Presidency. I know it galls people to hear it, but Trump was right about some very big things.

The new Dutch government is essentially to bin the green agenda entirely: Cuts to farming gone. Fuel taxes cut. Subsidies for heat pumps and insulation gone. Electric car subsidies cancelled. 4 new Nuclear plants. They're tossing the whole thing in the trash.

Nova Djokovic has been in Australia what, ten days? They're not pulling his visa because he is a public health risk. They're pulling it to punish and humiliate him for a private medical decision. And people are cheering.

If you live in Coolock and somebody in Donegal is building a bungalow, you have the right to lodge a planning objection. If you live in Coolock and Government is proposing a tent encampment in your area for 1,000 migrant males, you have no legal rights at all. Thus, "unrest".

Ireland: Where Jews get kicked out of Holocaust Memorial events so the President can criticise the Jewish state without protest. Great look, as they say, altogether.

The thing about these tunnels near UN bases in Lebanon is that UNIFIL have been there nearly 50 years. At some point, UNIFIL soldiers literally had to sit there watching Hezbollah dig tunnels in a demilitarised zone, and do nothing at all about it.

Some thoughts on the day's events, if I may: When thousands of people protested peacefully in East Wall, and in other communities across Dublin and the country, their reward was not to be recognised or engaged with for their peaceful political participation. Their reward was

The Irish entry to Eurovision sacked their choreographer today because, and I shit you not, their choreographer tweeted that this chap is a man.

Kneecap are in trouble only because the nonsense tolerated and celebrated in Ireland is neither tolerated nor celebrated in other countries. They are only in trouble because they did what they did in the USA and the UK. Had they done it in Dublin they'd be the toast of the town.

One thing I keep coming back to on Covid: In the early days there was footage from China of people falling down and collapsing in the street. People walking past dead bodies. That stoked mega fear. But nothing like it came close to happening. So where did that footage come from?
