    Emailing busy people I follow these guidelines: 🦖 get to the point ✂️ edit 🥚 keep it simple 🔮 link to more context/details 📅 stick to a single call-to-action (often Calendly) ✅ make it easy to say “yes” 🌀 offer permission to ignore ♻️ follow up (logarithmically)

    Saying “hi” in a DM or chat and just mutely waiting is not something I’d consider a social grace. It fundamentally destroys the premise of async communication. Imagine sending an email that just said “hi” - makes zero sense. Just add a little context, that’s all. 🙏
