Wish I had the right words for everyone today. I don’t! The passing of Josh is beyond sad. The best part of our program has nothing to do with wins. It’s about FAMILY and we lost one of our best today. Josh didn’t lose this battle-HE WON and his inspiration will last a lifetime.

- Not sure why the OHSAA new transfer rule should bother anyone unless they blatantly cheat. There are plenty of exceptions that most transfers fall under. Probably why it passed so easily. Coach your kids from your district, not others. It’s called building a program. Seems simple
- A year ago today, we lost a true warrior. He taught us all how to laugh, love, and fight. A true inspiration for so many people. For me personally, he was my hero. It was a short journey for him but he certainly made the most of it. I love Josh. Always will. Let’s go build a park
- I give @OHSAASports credit for pushing through with winter sports. They need to step in and fix this only parents in the stands policy. The idea of giving each player, coach, and cheerleader 2-4 tickets was the right move. We live in America. We should be able to choose who goes.
- As many of you already know, Josh had a major setback after his immunotherapy treatment. As Josh continues to fight at Rainbow/University Hospital, we will hold a prayer service for him this Sunday, March 24th at 6:30 pm at St. John Neumann Church in Strongsville. Spread the word
- Summit County health dept makes a recommendation days after being downgraded in color. @GovMikeDeWine makes a positive push for athletes to wear a mask and save their season. They have listened. Time to do your part. These kids have been training safely all summer. Let them play!
- We came up 6 seconds short last night to an Ignatius team who was ranked #1 in the state. Public schools who do things the right way are often not rewarded. What a great run! Tough way to close down a historical season. Thank you Brunswick! @BHSGoBigBlue @BrunswickBball
- If you think coaching your kid or playing for your dad is easy, think again. Without question I treated @trevmackey3 differently. I was much harder on him. Unfair and unjust on most occasions. So much love and respect for you. Congrats on being named all league. Very proud of you
- Happy Birthday Josh! The impact you had on our team, school, and community will live on forever. Miss you daily! We will have Josh Herron Night at our home opener on December 6 at 7:00. Video tribute, jersey presentation, and more. Should be a special night. Win the day! Go Blue!
- This is how every coach wants to see their bench late in the game. Many of these kids pictured hadn’t played a second. Very fortunate to coach unselfish kids who truly buy in to what being a good teammate is all about. Go Blue!
- Excited to honor and celebrate the life of Josh Herron this Friday. Fans are encouraged to get their tickets early either at BHS or online. The tribute to Josh will begin after the JV game around 6:30-6:45. First 150 students will get a JoshStrong t-shirt. Go Blue! @BHSDevilsDen
- Our game vs Amherst is canceled tonight despite two healthy, covid free teams. Our kids deserved the right to compete this evening. They’ve followed all guidelines on a daily basis. I feel for my guys today. Brunswick is looking for GAMES this week and next. Contact me. Go Blue!
- Six years ago today, this team was crowned district champs. So many great memories created with that group. We will try it again tonight versus St. Ignatius at 7:00 at Elyria Catholic. See you there! We miss #15. Go Blue! @BHSDevilsDen
- Not a day goes by where I don’t think about Josh. I miss him! Win the Day! Go Blue!
