    Talked with a cop outside the grocery. She said shoplifting of food has gone up, and I said "That's sad—so many people have gotten desperate during the pandemic." And she said "Well it's mostly homeless people; I haven't caught many normal people stealing" ...

    I don’t know if Americans realize how often ICE arrests US citizens, and how long those citizens can spend detained. I spoke to Davino Watson, who spent 3.5 years in a detention center. He was a citizen every minute of that time. 1/3
