- Smoltz: Never make a decision that makes the other team happy.
- The Tennessee teams of last year and this year are the only college teams I have watched since his death where I thought I wish my dad could have watched these guys play.
- Taking Cameron Johnson over Cam Reddish in the draft is not a crazy proposition.
- Slow down most any strip and can say ball off offense. That isn't basketball. Everyone on the playground knows.
- You just can't afford to have non competitive people on your team.
- John Calipari and his Kentucky staff do a brilliant job of developing players. Most importantly they lay a foundation of toughness, teamwork and professionalism. But don't ignore the fact that he identifies future pros in recruiting as well as anybody.
- Add Tennessee to the list of talented teams that play quality basketball. Impressive last two games. Coach Rick Barnes has established a premiere program.
