    Recruits- “Hey coach, I just need one opportunity. I just need a coach to believe in me.” Coaches- “I have a spot available on my team open. It’s just the opportunity you were looking for. I believe in you.” Recruits- “I need to weigh my options.” 🤦🏾‍♂️

    Dear freshmen, If you are struggling adjusting to college athletics, do NOT lose faith or confidence. It happens to everyone. Once the speed of play slows down to you, you will get it. Take it one day and one practice at a time. It will get better. #headupnotdown

    I swear I wish all high school kids understood how hard it is to make an "impact- as they call it" right away at the collegiate level. You can avg 17-20ppg and go to college and struggle for a year or two. Its just not easy. Be confident but at same time, be realistic.

    Part of the journey is the end. 23yrs (9 as assistant, 13yrs as a head) is a long time. I was blessed to get this opportunity back in 2011. It’s been a good run but now it’s dad/daughters time. The program is in great hands w/@Dee_martin05. Will see how being a fan goes 😂 #WU

    So proud of this team. Words can’t express my love for them. They are just a group of men. A heck of an effort, just came up short. Our four seniors have raised the bar for our program. I will miss them on the court but I know they will be great people off the court. #WU

    When you have parents who drive 4 hours to come watch a game and their kids don’t play here anymore... I guess I’m doing something right 🤷🏾‍♂️. I’m so blessed to have had some great players and families. #WU

    Recruits: ever wonder why some coaches/schools stop recruiting/talking to you? A lot of times it’s because coaches want responsible kids in their program. How many times does a coach have to say apply? Send transcripts? FAFSA? Schedule? Etc.. 1/2
