You know I'm right.
- If Elon Musk buys Twitter just to burn it to the ground, it will be the single greatest thing he has ever done for humanity. And I'm including the rockets and electric cars in that mix.
- Liberal MP Joel Lightbound has demonstrated real spine today, articulating an entirely sensible position that on COVID 19 restrictions that ratchets down the divisive rhetoric. I expect he'll be booted from caucus by noon tomorrow.
- I also sincerely suspect that most of the people who support invoking the Emergencies act have absolutely no idea what's in it, but support it in principle because they don't like the protests and this sounds tough.
- If you keep on insisting that "I don't want my children to spend the bulk of their childhoods masked" is some kind of fringe, right-wing position, you're going to wind up minting a lot more fringe, right-wing people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Also, I appreciate people like Theresa Tam et al, finally coming around to the fact that we're dealing with a healthcare capacity problem. An additional 100 or so people in ICU shouldn't be enough to collapse a healthcare system in provinces with populations of millions.
