- Since private conversations didn't work, I'm publicly begging a certain business owner to stop giving the finger to my wife and 2 year old child every time they drive by them walking or biking in the neighborhood. Just please stop doing this stuff in front of my kid.
- If the hood is too tall on your truck to see a 6 foot tall man in a crosswalk, it shouldn't be allowed on the road. A week ago this intersection would have allowed the truck to turn at 4x this speed, and this man would be dead instead of walking away unharmed.
00:00 - Food retailers should be forced to accept SNAP, thanks for coming to my talk.Op-ed: Just as food retailers aren't forced to accept SNAP, landlords should be able to decide for themselves whether to make a government program part of their business model, a real estate executive writes. bit.ly/31Sv1Kh
- I'm 6 feet tall and there's no reason this truck should exist in a city, or really at all.
- That intersection I tweeted where the pickup truck hit that guy a while back? Much safer now thanks to GRIA, @grahamprojects and @BmoreCityDOT.
- Replying to @ChrisAtheosThe truck and anyone who does this is in fact a joke.
- If you have these signs in your yard, you are a bad person. Nobody should listen to your opinions.
- Replying to @jedweeksLike for real can my kid just get to daycare in peace without seeing the finger? This is constant.
- I have received the results of my Public Information Act request on this crash. On May 25th at approximately 6:00pm, a driver failed to lawfully yield to a bicyclist riding in the Roland Ave bike lane, turning into the bike lane and knocking the bicyclist off of their bicycle. The #BPD thanks its officers for employing de-escalation techniques as they are trained to do. #BPDproactivity #Communitypolicing #BPDCareers
- It's an utter failure that these pools are closed and there aren't safe routes for kids to bike and walk to other open park pools. But also, filming these kids just trying to stay cool from a $2 million helicopter with ~$500k a year in operating costs is weird and bad.Several children were caught breaking into one of the many Baltimore City pools that remain closed with their gates chained. The break-in was caught on Monday. Footage details the children breaking in, setting up "camp", and entering the water along with a scooter.
00:00 - Seoul has 2 COVID-19 deaths. Baltimore has 31. Seoul is 500% denser than Baltimore. This is an absurdly wrong take that would only accelerate the climate disaster that is a root cause of pandemic.
- Shared to @bikemorebmore, a reckless driver managed to get themselves well up the Jones Falls Trail boardwalk. Hopefully this wonderful new recreational asset wasn't structurally damaged.
- Replying to @jedweeksThe victim was transported to a local hospital. Despite this being an injury crash, the at-fault driver was not cited or tested for substances. @BaltimorePolice shouldn't post praise they receive without vetting the facts. This post read as gross victim blaming, because it was.
