- I would pay to watch footage of someone doing their "own research" on vaccines. Share your screen because I am absolutely dying to know what you're looking at
- I have no doubt that he's a lovely person and a great teacher. - There’s so much talk on here about child-free people who hate kids, it’s easy to forget that a LOT of parents appear to strongly dislike their own children
- The single most jarring thing I’ve learned from social media time and time again is that so many people *sincerely* cannot imagine that anyone would simply care about other humansimagine having these thoughts and then actually sharing them
- Our grandchildren are not going to believe that we once went to offices just to put on headphones to drown out our colleagues and wrap ourselves up in giant shawls because it was freezing
- On my flight my seat mate asked what I did I said I was in journalism. He asked for more details. I said I do an advice column for an online magazine. He said oh like Slate's Dear Prudence. I said THAT'S ME. He was like😵 It was honestly so exciting.
- Who at NPR will volunteer to tell my 74-year-old mother who just got over breast cancer that yes, it's worse than a flu & she doesn't need to be going to book clubs all over town & water aerobics & Costco for no reason? She won't listen to me but she'll listen to you. Only you.
