    Sr. Night story Last nights senior night we had 7 seniors so obviously 2 couldnt start. We've been starting 4 seniors all year and one of those 4 gave up his spot for another senior who hasn't started before. Gotta praise the unselfishness that we see in today's selfish world.

    Bethel Basketball culture stories from Friday: 🏀 two starters supported their backups late in a close game. NO POUTING (they still came in later and made plays) 🏀 a player who played 38 min and had 28, 8, and 5 stayed late to help pick up jerseys in the lockerroom.

    Landon had the chance to shoot the “free throw” at the end of practice today for conditioning. Our players made this the best day of his life. I’m a lucky coach to have these guys.

    After our last game last night I wanted to look at what our program has done in year 1. ✔ most wins since 2004. ✔ first time beating a nationally ranked opponent since 2004 ✔ a freshman broke the single season steals and rebounds record. ✔ changing the culture.

    With the new NCAA summer recruiting rules coming out and so many people looking to blame AAU, I want to thank all of the GREAT AAU coaches that I was able to watch and speak with this summer. There are a lot of great people helping kids out there.

    Congratulations to @JaylonScott9, the best player to have ever worn a Bethel uniform, on committing to College of Charleston for his fifth year. Jaylon will now and forever be a Thresher, but I can’t wait to watch him continue his career.

    These seniors mean the world to me. It is so hard to see them play in their last game. They were my first class at Bethel and they are my family. I will miss their humor, selflessness, toughness, joy, and just getting to see them every day. Thanks to this team and these seniors.

    Recruits: you want a good college atmosphere? I just ran into an official who told me “You’re atmosphere at Bethel is the best small college environment NAIA or D2.” The experience is everything!

    What a year for Bethel Basketball: 🔥 20 wins, most since 1999 🔥 ranked 20th (highest since 04) 🔥 36 program records set 🔥 3 all conference players 🔥 DPOY 🔥 made conference semis (best since 05) 🔥 ranked 8th in the country in steals. It was a great second year as a staff

    Being the head coach at Bethel has been a great honor. There have been so many great memories in these wins. I have had a phenomenal staff and great players come through in my time here which have made this possible. Thanks to everyone who has helped our program get to where

    Special night tonight with a very special team and community. Thanks to everyone for showing up and thanks to our guys for being tough, competitive, fun, and unselfish. This season has been unforgettable. Still have memories to make though.
