- That was 2/3 of the way through. Chemo sucked. But since then has been some of the best years. Still can’t feel the bottom of my feet and I lost hair on my legs that never grew back. But fk it- we ball.
- Five years. Five years ago I was told I had something called “excellent performance status”. Sounds great huh? Not quite. See after an 8.5 hour surgery to remove and reconstruct my gut, this status meant they could give me the strongest chemo possible and it probably wouldn’t
- 5-5 five years ago was my fifth chemo treatment. Mindset, attitude, faith- all integral in the face of any challenge. The lessons from those days impact me every day. I’m feeling great (still can’t feel the bottom of my feet- small price to pay to be on this side of the dirt)
