So anyway, “wholesome” is not the opposite of sexual. Sex, including queer sex, can be lovely & wholesome & affirming & good. The purity culture idea that leads people to describe sex on tv as if it is antithetical to anything “wholesome” and more akin to violence…don’t like it.

He said most filmmakers edit in bird calls that are geographically impossible and that it takes him out every time. Im always thinking about that.
