- 5 months ago I decided I wanted to qualify for the @bostonmarathon . I put a training plan (1,010 miles) together and stuck to it every day since. Today I exceeded my expectation. I needed to run a 3:09:00 (7:12 per mile) and ended up running a 2:53:51 (6:38 per mile)
- So many emotions running thru my head this morning. Excited about my car for todays race and I am looking forward to enjoying the experience of the Daytona 500 one more time with my family. I am just as excited and nervous as I was back in 2003!
