Iโ€™m sure most attendees are naive and idiotic, rather than ideologues. But I donโ€™t think itโ€™s hyperbole to say that this is the closest thing to a large-scale Nazi rally that Britain has seen
In all my years skirting the fringes of right-wing groups, Iโ€™ve never once been at a meeting or rally where a crowd openly chanted death to anyone, let alone thousands screaming it in unison.

Reminder of what the voters think of Boris Johnson, when asked to describe him in a word - from @JLPartnersPolls in April. And yes, they still think it.

Main points from my @BBCr4today intv: - Partygate has fundamentally changed Borisโ€™ brand, even if story recedes - The public never forgot about it over last 3 months - Gap btwn Con MPs & the public is widening - Tories donโ€™t need to be far behind in polls to lose majority 1/2

In some of our focus groups this week, I asked voters about Boris Johnson. First, people who voted Conservative for the first time in 2019, in the 'Red Wall' seat of Bolton North East: โ€œHeโ€™s a coward.โ€ (1/18)
