If you run an animation studio and there's anything I can do for you, don't be a stranger. There are only a handful of us, and I don't really view you as competition. We're all sharing this industry, so while it may sound naive, I think life is more interesting when we all win.
man, i really can't handle reading twitter sometimes. i wonder if we'll ever live in a world where people aren't constantly trying to embarrass, spite, and otherwise tear each other down
going through 150+ portfolios from last week's @StudioYotta applications. since it's apparently #portfolioday , i figured i'd take some time to write down some advice on my mind for people who want to work in animation. (really long thread within)
12 years ago today, Studio Yotta got started.
In the beginning, Yotta began with me offering to do inbetweens and cleanup for my favorite Newgrounds animators. I created Yotta mainly because I had just turned 18, animation was the only thing I kinda knew, and I needed something
my team and i went all-out on this one, so we're really excited that it's finally out. and to be honest, this is probably the hardest and most obsessively I've ever worked on something. hope you guys enjoy, more info coming soon
i disagree with anyone who says america isn't a good place to live. it's definitely nowhere near perfect, we have a long way to grow as a society โ but i am proud to call this country my home and i hope more and more people can feel that too
