- Arrests being made with force. These students weren’t doing anything violent. One says “we’re just kids”

- Listening to my tape, after VCU police arrived on the scene, they warned protestors they would arrest them for trespassing, waited three minutes, made another warning, and then moved in. All in all it took about 12 minutes between police's arrival and their use of force.
- VCU police bringing detained protestors, dripping in their own snot from gas or spray into student center. I tried to check out the field and an RPD officer pointed pepper spray or something similar at me after ID’d as press
- A lot more people here than when protest was first forcibly dispersed
00:00 - The United Daughters of the Confrderacy appears to have been on fire. There’s a lot of smoke in front of the lights that light it up. Heavily armored police with rifles, what I assume is night vision equipment and gas masks here
- Dozens of students walked out of Gov. Glenn Youngkin's commencement speech at VCU. The crowd cheered. Students had been planning a walkout to protest Youngkin’s stances on race and gender, and student arrests during a protest of the Israeli state and the war in Gaza.

- There’s basically a standoff happening right now. Students are chanting “RPD KKK IDF they’re all the same”. Earlier “if you leave we will leave”
