Starting the week still thinking about how a Baylor fan said we had "an entire fanbase/school of Ted Lassos," and I think that should probably be our @BYU brand promise moving forward.
You can't make up how good of a dude this guy is. Hours after Bear Bachmeier wins the biggest game of his life in a grueling, physical contest, he's volunteering in a retirement home. Love one another.
Off a Holy War win last night , The Bachmeier bros were back today playing guitar and singing at the retirement home. My grandma said “They are really nice guys and I guess they just really like us!”
Something incredibly cool for @BYUCougars employees to find at their desks this morning.
Pure class from the No. 2 overall pick. Not forgetting where he’s come from.
@zachkapono1 👏👏👏
Still going through numbers, but this past weekend we may have seen the most digital reach in the history of BYU Athletics. A cool 18M impressions from @snapbacksports content and so much more through @BNKonFOX, tons of other media, influencers and micro influencers.
I can't get anyone to bite on LinkedIn so I'm bringing this take to Twitter
My take: Snapback Sports is the hottest brand in Sports right now.
18,000,000 impressions at the Holy War this past weekend
40,000 app downloads on our Sports Trivia app over the last 4 months and
As @byusoccer_w preps for a potential national title tomorrow, it's heartening to see the team together today. A big thanks to the NCAA for honoring BYU's no-Sunday play policy, which is less about what we can't do (compete) and more about what we can do (worship).
Really special articulation here. The no Sunday play at BYU, while eliminating a day of prep for an opponent, allows for a different kind of prep that can be extremely meaningful. “Come unto me,” the Savior invites us, “and I will give you rest.”
The fact that @marion_joel_13 went from teenage fan in Jimmermania to our current @BYUMBB director of fan experience is an incredibly cool full-circle story.
For those interested, this @Kevinreynolds30 story provides interesting and helpful context around the "[expletive] the Mormons" chants we hear at a variety of BYU road games. Here is the statement, in full, that BYU Athletics provided to the Tribune for this story.
I did not have on my Halloween bingo card that the White House economics reporter for the Washington Post would be dressed as Jake Retzlaff for Halloween.
Go Cougs!
In honor of @byuwbb facing Pepperdine today in the #WCCHoops tourney I am sharing the coolest-looking taken charge in the history of basketball, via @paisleynikelle against the Waves in the 2019 tournament.
