    This is a true story. I was in San Francisco a couple years ago, and got to talking to our Uber driver. He was a friendly Romanian dude. He asked me about work and we started talking ball. He told me his daughter was going to play college basketball. “She must be good!” I said.

    We talked hoops a little bit longer and he gave me his card in case I ever needed a ride somewhere. Couple years later it turns out he was 100% right. She WAS the best.

    I know that asking for 20 minutes of your time for a video is a lot these days. But this is one of the most emotional things we’ve ever produced. Every time I’ve been in a room with people watching it, people are wiping away tears in the last 5 minutes. Please check it out!

    He turned to me and raised a finger and said “No. She is not good. She is THE BEST.” I’m from the Balkans, I’ve been around proud Eastern Euro parents my entire life, they’re a people who ALWAYS have “the best” everything. I sort of laughed and was like “that’s awesome, man”.

    After games, our team sends content (photos, video, etc) to the players. After the win tonight we sent a pic to Zach LaVine of himself shooting the game winner. He replied asking for shots of him celebrating with his teammates instead. Think that says a lot. 💪🏽

    It was literally like 8° out today. I could barely find it in myself to make a trip to the grocery store. Meanwhile DeMar drove 3 hours to Champaign to support his rookie teammate. These aren’t little things.

    I’m proud to be a part of a @chicagobulls team named today as a recipient of the Digital Innovator Award as voted on by our peers in the @NBA. It means a ton and I’m lucky to work alongside some real badasses. PS this award is REALLY hard to take a good picture of.

    So a year or 2 ago @TheNikkoTan wanted to get better at photography. He bought a camera and called up a local high school and asked if they’d let him shoot games so he could practice on his off nights. He’s now getting shots like this regularly. Success is not an accident.
