- Am I the only one that is kind of excited about the MS / GitHub talks? I mean I know that we're all supposed to hate them and all... but vscode and typescript are two of the best maintained OSS projects i've ever seen. MS is not the old MS anymore
- I've worked on Jetpack Compose for almost 4 years now, and am very happy to see our first stable 1.0 release today! Lots of great people put a ton of work into this to get to where we are today., It's a big milestone, but also just the beginning!
- Replying to @karrisaarinen and @BJanoschI think it's because the Taxi companies lobbied to make it illegal, not because of congestion.

- Rearchitecting Airbnb's Frontend:
- Got a working port of React in both Swift and Kotlin. All native, but matching React's component API and RN's View/Text/Image APIs as close as possible. Getting closer to something that actually might be usable... eh?
- Bittersweet day for me. Today is my last day at Airbnb. Next week, I will be starting at Google working on some exciting new things for Android! It's sometimes hard to move on. I have loved my time at Airbnb. I'm super excited for the work to come though!
