Whoever said the highest form of love is consideration ate like mad. Went to a party with my guys and while ordering drinks, one of them handed me a cup and whispered in my ears: It’s just coke. We both know you don’t like alcohol. I felt seen and loved like mad.

Divorce rates are alarming. People are unfollowing each other and removing surnames lowkey in less than a year of marriage. Scary.

After I made a transfer to my Uber driver and he saw my surname, he asked if my dad used to head a certain bank. When I confirmed that was true, he talked how he funded the school he went to and made his education possible. Even beyond the grave, this man’s deeds finds me.

I attend COZA yeah and I’m laughing rn. When the gist revolved around our lead pastor, everybody was forming like it was an ‘attack’. Now that it’s #SexForGrades, church members are legit pained but can’t say anything. You know why?

Found out someone I know lives with HIV. Got mad at the injustice of it so I told the family friend who handles our NYSC requests to post me to the state AIDS Control Agency. The Agency advised to work somewhere else since they were severely underfunded by the govt.

You know what would be good for me right now? A full weekend with friends where we share space, laugh like hyenas, sing karaoke, play video games, watch old movies, make each other breakfast and have conversations that go on in circles.
