- IFS Association is deeply shocked at the sudden passing away of Shri Mukul Arya, IFS, India’s Representative at Ramallah. A bright & dedicated officer with a very helpful attitude. Gone too soon, he will be deeply missed. IFSA stands with his family in their hour of grief.
- Chonira Belliappa Muthamma ! C.B. Muthamma was the first woman to clear the Indian Civil Services examinations and the first woman to join Indian Foreign Service in 1949. She was also the first Indian woman Ambassador from #IndianForeignService.

- V. Venkateshwara Rao (IFS:1990) Kirti Chakra awardee, V. Venkateswara Rao, laid his life in the line of duty,in a terrorist attack,at our Embassy in Kabul on 7 July 2008. He had served in Berlin, Colombo,Kathmandu and Washington.His sacrifice will remain etched in our memories.
- Vikram Misri (IFS:1989) He has served in various capacities in MEA including EAMO.He has the distinction of serving as Private Secretary to three Prime Ministers of India.Served as Ambassador of India to China, Myanmar & Spain,will take charge as Deputy National Security advisor
- We condemn the violence at Tis Hazari Court against police personnel and urge the concerned to bring the perpetrators of violence to justice. Our colleagues from @IPS_Association have our steadfast support.
