- We had Corey Smale on the podcast on Dec 29. He said he could tweet about anything and Pabst wouldn't care. A few days later and one ass-eating tweet later, Pabst fired him Corey sacrificed so much and deserves nothing but honor and appreciation for everything he's done #king
- People make fun of SKA because its a scene that embraces misfits, weirdos and outcasts and treats them like normal people
- The 40+ year olds that still go to DIY punk shows are the real heroes

- Now that we're a safe distance from the CD era, can we all admit that most hidden tracks were really bad and not worth the 10 minutes of silence it took to hear them?
- I don't think there would have been a global ska revival if The Specials never existed. Terry Hall was an essential ingredient in what made The Specials such an amazing force that would influence literally thousands of bands. Huge loss.
- Today's guest is legendary comedian Margaret Cho. Her favorite band is Fishbone. Her mid-90s ABC sitcom almost had a ska theme song (by Skankin' Pickle). She went to punk & ska shows at The Farm and Gilman--she saw Operation Ivy! She tells us how all this informed her adult life
