So, in Germany, an MP has just resigned because there's an initial investigation into potential corruption in brokering a mask contract. MP resigned, won't stand for re-election. Have any of the dozens of UK MPs and cabinet members giving mates contracts resigned yet? Any? No?

Was just trying to book St. Paul's Cathedral tickets for visiting friends. A single daytime entry ticket is now a whopping ยฃ26. Westminster Abbey: ยฃ29. Just to compare - Cologne Cathedral: free. Notre Dame Paris: free. Florence Dome and Rome St Peter's Basilica: free

Well, @Number10cat was in a rather cuddly mood today. He just curled up in my lap and snoozed off, purring. Gave him a good scratch behind the ears and under the chin, think he may have quite enjoyed that.

Today, both the Telegraph and Times run glamourised, government issued pictures of Liz Truss posing in the Kreml on the front pages, taken by a tax payer funded vanity photographer. This is not independent reporting, it isn't news, and it isn't journalism. It's propaganda.

Right. At this point, shall we just go with Hugh Grant as caretaker PM, until the rest can be sorted out? What say ye, @HackedOffHugh ?

No, James Cleverly, the British logistics crisis is not "a situation that many countries are experiencing now". Supermarket shelves are full in the EU. Please tell the truth, the shortage of HGV drivers is a UK problem and caused largely by Brexit. #HoldThemToAccount

Welcome Larryโ€™s Love Inn at #DowningStreet, where the resident feline will sit and ponder for a bit (pic), then roll up for a 10 min cat nap (no pic, as busy scratching ears), only to then dribble, drool and salivate all over my down coat. What are you like, @Number10cat ?! ๐Ÿ˜€

More shots from the Cabinet Meeting in #DowningStreet, where @Number10cat photobombed, I mean graced, many of the pics. Hilary Benn & Steve Reed say hello, Liz Kendall with a little back rub, Ian Murray and Peter Kyle approach, and the post cabinet snooze. Pics @Alamy_Editorial

โ€˜Supply chain issuesโ€™? โ€˜Border challengesโ€™? Nonsense. There are no test tube shortages in Europe, yet people in UK now cannot have their regular blood tests. This is Brexit, @BBC. Call it what it is and donโ€™t take us for fools.

And last but never ever least, there was this little face in the window next to the No 10 door. Snoozing comfortably on the window ledge, I think @Number10cat took it easy today, watching the world (literally) go by. Sorry bit blurry, but he looked cute.

Richard Ratcliffe and his daughter Gabriella sit outside the Foreign Office during the candlelight vigil this eve. Ratcliffe continues his hungerstrike to continue to highlight the situation of his wife Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, still detained in Iran. Pics @Alamy_Editorial

A question. Is there actually a super injunction in place on Charlotte Owen? What did she see or do (or not do?) during her time at No 10 that warranted being elevated to the House of Lords by Boris Johnson? There seems to be an "understanding" to let dust settle on it. Why?
