CPP & CEI are assessing an outage to CPP customers on Cleveland’s west side. CPP couldn’t restore their customers quickly because their own alternate line has been out of service for a year+. We are happy to help restore power once the outage cause is identified.

📸 Crews are out in full force. This was the most impactful storm to hit our service area since July 1993, bringing two confirmed tornados with winds up to 110mph. While damage assessment continues, we have already confirmed approx 300 broken poles that will need replaced. ⤵️

⚠️ Today's storm caused widespread damage. Please be careful if you must go outside as downed power lines can be hidden in storm debris. Assume ANY downed or low-hanging wire is energized and dangerous. Stay 30+ feet away and report it ASAP to 911. 📸 Damage in Lakewood & Parma

Staging sites are the ❤️ of our restoration effort. They operate like mini-cities because they offer workers a place to rest, refuel and stock up on supplies as they work to restore power. Thanks @ParmaMayor for providing a staging site for this week's storm. Stay safe!
The @illuminatingco is using The Shoppes at Parma as a staging area for its 50 trucks and crew as they work to replace nine power lines on West Ridgewood Drive and send other trucks throughout the city to restore power. Please be patient.

A staging site is the heart of our restoration effort. This Lake County site is one of five sites we have set up across greater Cleveland to serve as a one-stop shop for the more than 6,000 line workers and support personnel working around the clock.
