Lately, a mysterious artist has been filling the ICTS blackboards with incredible drawings and quirky words. The blackboards, which are otherwise filled with complicated equations, are getting a new character.

- Rama Govindarajan @ictstifr elected as Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). She has contributed to different aspects of fluid mechanics, including instabilities in viscosity-stratified flows & multiphase flows involving the dynamics of bubbles, drops & particles.
- In 1929, scientists discovered that the universe is expanding. However, when they measured its speed they got different answers using different methods. A team of researchers led by Souvik Jana at the ICTS, Bengaluru, have proposed a solution to the persistent problem.
