- Jerome Tang told me that he'd be interested in adding a season tip-off event in the future. Mentioned setting up a basketball court in Aggieville which sounds pretty sweet.
- Martinez said that he's 75% of the way through the menu at So Long Saloon. Wants to try everything. QB 1 material, for sure.
- What was your favorite college basketball moment of 2023?
- Anybody equating Gordon making a basketball play to DeSousa nearly assaulting someone with a weapon needs to hang it up for the night.
- .@KStateMBB will start hosting postgame victory celebrations at Rockin' K's and fans are encouraged to join them. The first one will be today and Jerome Tang will address attendees after he wraps up postgame responsibilities. They'll do this after every home win going forward.
- Needless to say, K-State fans are excited to have Khalif Battle and Clifford Omoruyi visiting.
- K-State announces that Cooper Beebe is a Consensus All-American. That pretty much locks in that one day, Beebe's name will be enshrined into the school's Ring of Honor. When it does, he'll be the first offensive lineman to receive the honor. Pretty special.
- K-State just announced some new concession items for this season, including a chicken chipotle raspberry burrito, hot honey chicken and waffle sandwich, chicken parm sandwich, meatball sub and Philly Cheese wrap. I would like to eat all of those.
- I'm delighted to announce that I am the new Sports Editor and Kansas State beat writer for @MERCsports/@MERCnewsroom. This job has been a dream for me ever since I got into journalism in my junior year of high school.
