- I'm still seeing comments saying, "I don't need the NWS! My weather app is better!" Folks don't understand that that cool app is just a parasite that feeds almost entirely off NWS data. The ignorance is stunning.
- Cutting National Weather Service funding so offices are grossly understaffed, and then being surprised an understaffed office didn't get life-saving tornado warnings out, is a uniquely 2025 level of stupid. We get what we pay for.
