- On 30.07.2020, Hyderabad Customs booked cases against 11 pax who have arrived on Air India Flight No.1918 with gold concealed in their trousers. The total gold seized from all the pax is 3.11 kgs and is valued at Rs.1.66 Crores.
- On 19.10.21 Hyderabad Customs booked a case for smuggling of gold against a passenger arriving by EK 524 from Dubai. A total of 6.06 kgs of gold valued at Rs. 2.96 Crores was recovered & seized. The gold was concealed inside the rechargable lantern. Further investigation ongoing.
- On 22.7.2020, Customs staff at RGIA, Hyderabad intercepted a passenger coming from Dubai & seized 74g gold worth approx. Rs 3.5 Lakhs concealed in a wrist watch. Further investigation is under progress.
- On 28.11.2020, Hyderabad Customs booked a case against one pax who has arrived from Dubai via Flight No. 6E-025 with gold concealed in paste form in three capsules in his rectum.The total gold seized from the pax is 505.53g valued at Rs.24.49L.Further investigation is in progress
- On 2.12.2020, Hyderabad Customs booked a case against one pax who has arrived from Dubai via Flight No. 6E-025 with gold concealed in paste form in two capsules in his rectum. The total gold seized from the pax is 299.19g valued at Rs 14.68L. Further investigation is in progress
- On 26-12-20 Hyderabad Customs booked a case against a lady pax arrived from Dubai in AI 952. Five gold bars along with gold jewelry of 22 carat was found concealed in her baggage. Total gold seized is 2.021 kg and valued at Rs.96.04 lakhs. The case is under investigation.
- On 06.09.2022 Hyderabad customs AIU-A @hydcus batch has intercepted a female passenger arriving from Dubai -EK528 . The passenger is trying to smuggle the gold by concealing them in insole of foot ware. The Gross value of the Gold Seized is 514 grams.
00:00 - On 23.06.2021 Hyderabad Customs booked a case for smuggling of iPhones against two passengers arrived by flight G9-458 from Sharjah. 80 iPhones valued at Rs. 1 Crore were seized. The two passengers and other person who organised the smuggling of the said goods were arrested.
- On 09.01.22 Hyderabad Customs booked a case for smuggling of gold against a male pax arriving by Flight G9-450 from Sharjah.970 grams of gold valued at Rs. 47.55 lakhs recovered & seized. Gold in paste form was concealed inside the bandages tied to calves of both the legs.
