Christian Miller aka BurroughsJunior was a 4x champion at Plainview and his fierce fighting spirit will never be forgotten. We had some great banter and talks about the sport and I never met a kid that wanted to win more. My condolences to his family, Plainview and GBR wrestling.

- Max Hughes was one of the fiercest competitors we've ever had in our state. His record of achievement in our sport was gigantic. My deepest condolences to Jon, Barb and Bailey. May God comfort you all in this darkest of times. The wrestling community mourns with you today.
- Paul Ruff you don't have to have a gold medal around your neck to be a champion. Head up kid
- The state and our sport lost two legends today. May their competetive spirits live on forever in our hearts and may we never forget their great positive impact on us all. Men, save a seat for me matside when we meet again one day
- We can confirm the passing of state medalist Ashton Schweitzer of Broken Bow, formerly of Pierce. Lots of people in both communities hurting right now. Please keep them in your hearts during this difficult this time. A significant loss of a great young wrestler and student.

- ALL the respect in the world for Dylan Vodicka. Services for his father held this morning and he's out there on the mat competing this afternoon. Not much else to say that speaks for itself
- Garrett Grice is the 35th 4x state champion in Nebraska history. He goes out with an incredible 196-1 career record and wins his final match for his Coach Todd Porter who is retiring this year
- Please keep the Grice family in your thoughts and prayers 🙏 😥
