Whenever we hit or play wall ball...we try to send “Pop-Pop” videos - because he lives 10 hrs away. My dad created my passion for sports by simply “playing” with me. There was usually something on the line - ALWAYS competing - ALWAYS having fun. Pop Pop enjoyed this one

Summer means wiffle ball at the Hurba house…so nice to have a night to be with the kids and their friends before we leave for Stanford.

I cherish the moments more and more & I hope we stay tight as he gets older. This winter he decided to wrestle…maybe he’ll fall in love with the sport like I did. Thankfully, mom “gets us” so she let us turn the downstairs into a wrestling room! Happy 13th Birthday TJ

”Daddy, when are we going fishing, I really want to learn how to fish?” Finally got a morning to ourselves. Obviously...I’m hoping that he at least gets a nibble. I shoulda known better - - - 3rd cast of his life and he lands a hammer. Day 1 score: TJ 1 - Daddy 0

Born & raised in NY..played college baseball in NY..and now I get to coach baseball at Binghamton University! I appreciate the invitation to come back again and present at our state convention...and I’m especially looking forward to connecting with more coaches from New York.

Nick is a rare breed - has a mix of ingredients not many kids have. Confident-resilient-consistent…just to name a few. As much as I’ll miss our early morning BP….I’m excited to watch him chase his dream. Congrats @NickRoselli4 and family - I couldn’t be prouder.

Congratulations to Coach Landers, his staff, and the entire team for playing their best baseball in May. Back-to-Back trips to the World Series is some kind of accomplishment. So happy for everybody involved! Good luck in Appleton!!! @OswegoBaseball @OswegoAthletics

TJ and I play catch almost every day that the weather is decent. We always play a game called 21. Head shots are 2 points - chest shots 1 point. It’s amazing when you put something on the line and narrow the focus - how small the misses get.

Yesterday was TJ’s 11th birthday. Prospects: play baseball for the right reasons…play it like you’re ten years old. Don’t let “the recruiting process” stress you out…try to enjoy it. And remember…this is what your parents see when they look at you…so be nice to them!!

Not many date nights these days, but boy did I luck out with this girl. Still can’t believe she said yes almost 13 yrs ago. The count was 0-2 and the “marriage gods” hung a slider...I closed my eyes and ran my barrel right into it.
