    Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles were loaded onto a C-17 at RAAF Base Amberley today for delivery to Ukraine 🇺🇦 The Australian Government is gifting 20 Bushmasters, including two ambulances, to the Government of Ukraine to aid the response to Russia’s illegal aggression.

    The accelerated airlift of Australian military assistance for the Government of Ukraine is continuing, with the latest load of heavy supplies, including M777 Howitzers & Australian-built Bushmaster protected mobility vehicles being transported by Ukrainian-based Antonov Airlines.

    Following the Prime Minister of Australia’s announcement on 27 February that Australia will provide defensive military assistance to Ukraine. An @AusAirForce C-17A Globemaster III departed Australia for Europe on 2 March carrying critical military equipment and medical supplies.

    At the request of the Ukraine Government, #YourADF commenced delivery of military assistance in March to help Ukraine respond to ongoing illegal Russian aggression. @AusAirForce and commercial aircraft moved vehicles and equipment to Europe for movement into Ukraine #JOCShots

    The @ModJapan_en is temporarily basing air assets and personnel in Australia to most efficiently deliver relief supplies to Tonga. Liaison officers traveled to Canberra to coordinate with Australia and other international partners to manage the flow of assistance into Tonga.
