Patricia Sue Head Summitt was born on this day 70 years ago. She took the head coaching job at Tennessee at age 22, just one year after Title IX passed. Over 38 years, she built a Vol legacy, and paved the way for WBB. The game would not be what it is today without her. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Last year the all-time scoring leader in NCAA history saw the loss of her mentor, the loss of a likely NCAA Championship and the loss of her pro rookie season. But one of the nicest people in the game is ready to take the court again. Wishing Sabrina Ionescu an incredible year 🏀
