We lost a legend this morning. Lefty passed away . 1979 was my first year broadcasting Terps games and Lefty was there. No words can properly describe the impact he had on basketball and how he put Maryland on the national map. RIP coach.

Jan 29th 1975, the small plane my Daughter Tracie and I were in crashed on landing..the Prince Georges County Fire and Rescue units got us out before the plane blew up. It could have been disastrous. She's a NICU nurse, I'm still talking...The man upstairs was looking out for us.

West Va-Maryland in College Park today kicks off my 43rd year of doing Terps football and basketball..best job in the world. Steve Suter will be alongside. Should be Locks best team as he continues to improve the program. Win today would be huge.

You had to be there. Off the charts support from the students, incredible 29-4 2nd half run...Ju Ju holds his own against Zack...Coach has them believing they can beat ANYBODY and you know something they can. Great 14 point upset over number 3 Purdue!! Sure is fun again!!!!

Justin Maxwell did a nice job working with Bob Carpenter on Nats games. Not easy being thrown in with no experience and Justin got better as the season rolled along. A first class young man, I would have enjoyed working with him.

I have never met anyone like Brooks Robinson. How could anyone not love the guy. Great player, no question...better person, absolutely. He made every one of my charity golf tournament's when he could. He signed, posed, and spoke with everyone. RIP Brooks

Something special is happening in College Park. 15 wins for Kevin Willard, matching last years win total and with 9 to play. These guys are fun to watch.
