Today is my last day as a software engineer for @TheDemocrats. For the past 3 yrs, I have been the lead engineer on the DNC's software that helps protect the right to vote. Here's why this work is so important to me, and why I dedicated the last 3 years of my life to it. 🧵

- Replying to @paulgWhen folks use the terms "woke" and "wokeness" in a non-ironic way, it's hard to take seriously claims that they are moderates. Those are words you hear on Tucker Carlson and Newsmax with the purpose of furthering an agenda.
- Replying to @realEstateTrentJust closed today!!! 37 years old. Richmond, VA.
- Replying to @johannes_ff and @The_Law_BoyNope. It’s not the decision until it’s published by the Court. It’s possible this won’t be the decision but we’ll know in a couple months.
- Replying to @Justin_RiemerAre you starting to understand what the GOP has bred?
- Hello. I'm running for a four-year term to be one of Virginia's five @DNC members. I worked at the DNC through the 2020 cycle as an engineer, building technology that powers the DNC's voter protection infrastructure. I'm proud of the rock-solid infrastructure I built alongside /4
- Crazy scenario: in 2020, Dems flip Michigan and Wisconsin back to blue and also flip Arizona. This will be a 269-269 vote tie in the Electoral College. Read this thread if you like crazy election scenarios. 1/x
- I’m excited to announce the launch of Magistrate. It’s unfair that smart people can’t use the legal system unless they work at a big company or have a lawyer on retainer. We’re changing that. bit.ly/3dqmNo1
- A huge thank you to everyone who made my campaign for @DNC a success! I want to acknowledge the people that made this statewide campaign possible. First and foremost, my wife @lvedkhanna, who led this campaign as it's chief strategist. Nobody works harder or smarter than her.
- This will rank up there with George Washington’s decision to step aside after two terms. An incredible act of humility by the greatest President of my lifetime.
- Replying to @samaYou have somehow bought into the idea that government debt is anything like private debt. Debt created by the issuer of the currency that denominates the debt is a fundamentally different thing than private debt. This misunderstanding of public debt has caused a lot of harm.
- Congratulations to @lvedkhanna on being nominated from Virginia as one of the 538 members of the Electoral College. If Joe Biden wins Virginia (🤞), Lisa will earn a place in history by casting 1 of the 538 electoral votes for President. A huge honor, and a fitting one for her!
- Congratulations to my fellow DNC members, @doriscmays, @tramNVM, @BryanGrahamVA, & @JCarrollFoy. Excited to get to work with this stellar crew and so grateful to all those who supported me. 🧵incoming next week. But for now, thank you @DPVAChair, @shyamsraman, and @emilyaprylCongratulations to Virginia's newest DNC member, @hkhanna! Harry is the perfect mix of what we need in DNC members -- brilliant, experienced, and ready to roll up his sleeves. Can’t wait to see him get to work!
